Puyang County Refractories Factory, as PRCO'S predecessor, was founded in March, 1988. It was recomposed to be a limited liability company in 2002 and became PUYANG REFRACTORIES GROUP CO., LTD. in 2007. The group company now has registered Capital 331.8 million RMB and total capital 694 million RMB. Among our 2600 employees, there are 2 people with doctor degree and 23 people with master degree. More than 700 engineers expert in R&D, design of the high temperature industry. Since Mr. Liu Baikuan who is an expert and a visiting scholar in America became the general engineer and superintendent of high-tech research center, the company has fetched in lots of people with ability and paid great attention to the development of high-tech products.

The products cover almost all parts of metallurgy industry, such as, BF, EAF, CF, Ladle, Tundish, Industrial Furnace and Non-ferrous metallurgy. We also supply products to other industries, such as, the petrochemical industry, Power industry and Architecture industry etc.

The company passed ISO9001 quality system audit in 1998 and adopted ISO14000/OHS18000
systems in 2007. The leading product, porous plug for Ladle which is a National New Product was listed in The National Key Porch Project. And it takes over 60% of domestic market share. Our 20 series, more than 200 kinds of the products were used in BAOSTEEL, SHOUGANG, WU HAN IRON AND STEEL CO., LTD,ANBEN STEEL AND BAOTOU STEEL etc. They were exported to the United States, Commonwealth of Independent States, South EastAsia, Africa and Middle East.

PRCO GROUP has three subsidiaries (PRCO Functional Material Co., Ltd, PRCO Yingkou Magnesia Refractories Co. Ltd and PRCO Kiln Engineering Co., Ltd) and two holding companies (Beijing Jinyuan New Material Co., Ltd and Ukraine Puyang Keramite Limited Liability Co.). PRCO anuual capacity is 120,000 pieces of porous plug, 5000 tons ball regenerator, 5000m regenerative brick, 80000 tons castables, and 25000 tons precast shapes. PRCO Functional Refractory Co. Ltd. produces 5000 tons functional refractory for C. C.,10000 tons slide plates, 5000 tons SiN bonded SiC blocks each year. PRCO Yingkou Magnesia Refractories Co. Ltd has the ability of producing magnesia carbon bricks 50000 tons and unshaped magnesia-based refractories 100,000 tons each year. PRCO Kiln Engineering engages in kiln design, construction and maintenance. There are more than 40
offices in domestic.We also have 6 overseas offices.

PRCO Hi-Tech Refractory Research Institute has three labs, namely Metallurgy Refractory Application Lab, Systemic Refractory Application Lab of Nonferrous Metal, Electric Power, Petrochemical, Casting Etc, and Product Improvement Lab, as well as Intelligence Section and Test Center (accredited by China National Accreditation Committee for Laboratories). PRCO owns the most advanced equipments from worldwide for refractory R & D, and is ranked No.1 company in China equipped with scanning electron microscope (JSM6360 produced by Japan), X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometer (PW243 produced by Philippe Company), X-Ray Diffraction, X-ray Energy Disperse Spectroscopy (INCA produced by Britain Oxford Company)etc. PRCO is able to test and analyze all kinds of rafractories in its own lab, which
guarantees to develop high quality products.

PRCO occupies 1008 m R&D base, 6000m semi-industrial base and 560m training center. The total value of test apparatus is up to 20 million RMB. To ensure the smooth progress in its Hi-Tech Refractory Research Institute, PRCO invests 5-10% of total annual sales income as R&D fund.
